Jonathan practices corporate and securities law with a primary focus on capital market and commercial transactions, including equity and debt financings, initial public offerings and mergers and acquisitions. Jonathan advises public and private companies on corporate governance, continuous disclosure obligations, and various other corporate and securities law compliance matters.
Outside of work, Jonathan enjoys playing basketball and watching whatever sport is playing on TV. Jonathan is a founding member of Raise the Bar, an initiative supporting students from disadvantaged backgrounds seeking to enter the legal profession.
Prior to joining DuMoulin Black, Jonathan worked at a boutique business and real estate law firm in Vancouver. In his last year of law school, Jonathan also worked as a legal intern at the legal department of a national telecommunications company and at the British Columbia Securities Commission.
