Justin G. Kates received his J.D. from the University of Western Ontario in 2008 and his Bachelor of Business Administration from Western Michigan University in 2004. He was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2009.
Justin practices in the areas of corporate and securities law and has advised clients on a variety of matters, including public offerings, private placements, stock exchange listings, share and asset acquisitions and dispositions, continuous disclosure obligations, due diligence and general corporate matters. Justin has represented clients in the mining, oil and gas and technology sectors. Prior to joining DuMoulin Black LLP, Justin practiced corporate and securities law at a firm in Vancouver.
