Kathryn J. Blair received her LL.B. from the University of Alberta in 2004 and her B.A. (Hons.) from the University of Calgary in 2000. She was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 2005 and to the Law Society of British Columbia in 2009.
Kathryn practices in the areas of corporate, commercial and securities law and has advised clients on a variety of matters, including share and asset acquisitions and dispositions, corporate reorganizations, prospectus financings, private placements, continuous disclosure obligations and general corporate and commercial matters, and due diligence matters. Kathryn has represented clients in the oil and gas, mining, power, private equity and communications sectors. Prior to working at DuMoulin Black LLP, Kathryn worked with two national law firms in Calgary, Alberta.
